A few km southeast of charming and exciting Lucca is this large and beautiful property with charming buildings and a lovely well-kept garden. Own tennis court and wonderful pool area.
In the garden there are lemon trees and a herb garden. The swimming pool (12x6m, with a depth of 1.4m) is surrounded by terracotta tiles. Here are sun loungers and parasols. The pool is open all seasons. By the pool there is a sitting area with shelter from the sun. The villa is decorated in a typical Tuscan style with exposed wooden beams on the ceiling and terracotta tiles on the floors. A covered terrace with table and chairs surrounds three sides of the villa. Perfect for outdoor meals. Here is also a barbecue. Very helpful hosts live in a small house by the tennis court on the same property. Their house is sheltered from Villa Rossi so that guests get exclusivity on the property. Possibility to rent bicycles. Fresh baked goods can be delivered to your door every morning on request.
Villa Rossi is located outside Lucca in the village of San Ginese. From the villa it is walking distance to restaurant, pizzeria, bakery, bar, small grocery, pharmacy, bank and shops etc. It is 5 km to Capannori, a larger town with a few more amenities. Lucca 8 km (here is the nearest train station), Florence 75 km, the beaches of Viareggio 40 km and Pisa 25 km. Pisa Airport: 35 km – 40 min, Florence Airport: 67 km – 50 min and Bologna Airport: 151 km – 1 hour and 30 min. Rental car is not required, but we recommend using a car to get to know your surroundings.
About Villa Rossi
A total of 420 sqm and goes over two floors. You enter a stately hall with a small guest bathroom. The walls in the stairwell have beautiful decorations and the living room has several sofa groups. The kitchen / dining room has seating for all guests and access to the covered terrace. Well equipped kitchen (dishwasher, kettle, microwave, coffee maker, espresso pot, refrigerator with separate freezer, oven, etc.). A door leads out from the kitchen to the parking lot and on to a laundry room (washing machine, iron and tray). A total of 7 nice bedrooms, and 6 bathrooms, one of which has a jacuzzi. 6 of the bedrooms have double beds, one has a single bed. All double beds can be converted into separate beds. The villa has facilities such as hairdryer, AC, safe, free wifi, DVD, CD and mosquito net.
The villa is always rented as a unit. Part of the villa forms an independent small part. It has an open floor plan with well equipped kitchenette (electric hob, stove and refrigerator with a small freezer etc.), table space for four people, sofa and direct access to the garden at the back of the villa. 2 bedrooms with shared bathroom with shower. One single room and one double room with two single beds (can be converted into a double bed). The villa has two cots and two high chairs for small children.
Villa Rossi is not heated. The pool is open from the second week of May – end of October, this depends on the weather.
