Villa Ginestra is a beautiful stone villa in typical Tuscan style, located with magnificent views over beautiful Tuscan countryside. The villa is ideally located for those who want to live in the countryside with access to large outdoor areas, and at the same time want proximity to the coast. Here you have a short distance to places like Bolgheri, Casale Marittimo, Volterra and San Gimignano.

The villa is tastefully and modernly decorated in typical Tuscan style, and maintains a very good standard. Next to the villa is a small annex with sleeping space for two people. The annex has a double bed and a bathroom. The villa is spread over two floors. The ground floor contains a kitchen, dining suite, living rooms and bathrooms. Both the kitchen and living room have direct access to the garden. On the second floor are five large bedrooms with private bathrooms. All rooms and bedrooms are air conditioned. Free Wifi works in the living area on the ground floor. The network corresponds to the use of approximately 6 devices (mobile / PC) simultaneously. From all rooms there are beautiful views over the countryside. The house is surrounded by garden, and the pool is 10×5 meters with a depth of 145 cm. The pool is open from May to September. The pool is closed in low season, can be opened at an additional cost.

It’s easy to feel at home here, enjoy lazy days by the pool, and meals based on the delicious local produce. On the terrace there is a shaded area with long tables and chairs. In the evenings you can also enjoy sitting outside, and maybe enjoy a glass of red wine from Bolgheri… Most likely you will not go home again.

The place is centrally located in Tuscany, and by car you can easily reach the coast and nice beaches. In around 15 minutes you can reach the fine sandy beaches of Rosignano Solvay, the resort of Cecina Mare, Marina di Bibbona, Donoratico and the beautiful Rimigliano Park in the south of San Vincenzo. Piombino and Livorno are also nearby, where you can reach the island of Elba by ferry.

Interesting cities you can reach on day trips: Florence, Pisa, Volterra, San Gimignano, Siena, Lucca, Arezzo to name a few. The nearest village is about 8 km away. Nearest shop for some local products about 4 km. away.

Our own service office is helpful with various services such as hiring a personal chef, cooking classes, renting bicycles, guide, transport, etc.

About the villa (10-12)

Ground floor: Lounge, dining room, kitchen and laundry room.
Second floor: 4 double bedrooms, each with its own bathroom. 1 bedroom with two single beds.
Outdoor terraces with sun protection. Pool. Parking space.

Annex: 1 double room with bathroom.

The prices above are in euros and apply to weekly stays.
Included in the price is the weekly change of bed linen and towels.
Final cleaning is at an additional cost of € 250.00 per week for 10 people. € 270.00 for 12 people. Free Wifi works in the living area on the ground floor. The network corresponds to the use of approximately 6 devices (mobile / PC) simultaneously.
There is a surcharge for the use of air conditioning of € 0.50 per kWt (measured after use). All rooms in the villa are air conditioned.
A supplement for heating gas is paid at € 6.00 per cubic meter (measured after use). Heating is normally only required for rentals for the period before May or from the end of September.
The swimming pool at Villa Ginestrino can be heated on request. Heating of the pool must be requested in good time (no later than 2 weeks before arrival). Price for heating is € 6.00 / m3 (measured according to consumption).
NB: it is not possible to use AC and pool heating at the same time.
The swimming pool is closed in the periods 1 / 1-29 / 4 and 1 / 10-16 / 12 2017, can be opened for a supplement of € 300.00 per week.
There is an additional charge for extra linen change € 10.00 per person. One supplement is paid for extra change of towels € 5.00 per person. One supplement is paid for the rental of beach towels € 5.00 per person.
Daily cleaning can be arranged on request.
When booking several weeks, you choose whether you want a midweek clean, and change of bed linen and towels for the same price as the final cleaning.
A chef can come to the villa and prepare meals, on request.
A free cot is added on request, for the next cot a supplement of € 50.00 per piece, per week. A free high chair is added on request, for the next high baby chair a supplement of € 30.00 per piece, per week.
Extra beds: if you rent for 10 people you can put in 1 extra bed. If you rent for 12 people, an extra bed is not allowed.
Supplement for extra bed: € 120.00 per piece, per week.
In cases of water shortage in the area, the owner may provide a limit on water consumption per week. If you use more than this limit, there will be an additional cost in these cases. Price 5.00 m3. A water consumption corresponding to a normal consumption during a holiday stay will be calculated. This is a procedure that is done to avoid unnecessary use of water during periods of water shortage. A security deposit of € 800.00 is required upon arrival for 10 people. The deposit can be paid in cash or by card. The money is returned in full upon departure if no significant damage has occurred. The amount is payable in cash or by credit card on arrival.
When booking, 30% of the rental amount must be paid. The balance is paid 10 weeks before arrival.

Arrival time: Between 17:00 and 19:00. If you need to arrive after 19:00, it is important that an agreement is made in advance. You can not arrive later than 19:00 without making an appointment. If the flight is delayed, you must call as soon as possible and report late arrival. Upon arrival after 22:30, an agreement will be made to place the key. Formal check-in will take place the next day. Departure: By 09.30 the day of departure.
