The house is located in rural and quiet surroundings with panoramic views. On this hillside you will find several of Lucca’s most famous vineyards and olive groves. There are several cozy restaurants in the local area, and in summer you can visit Sagraer (village party) in the immediate area. Here you meet Italians in their local environment and eat and drink well for reasonable prices.

The cozy town of Lucca is 30 minutes away, and here you can go in the afternoon and look in the shops that do not close until approx. 20:00. When you’re all shopped out and hungry, there are many good restaurants with both traditional and less traditional Tuscan food. Of course, Lucca is also a buzzing city during the day. One can rent bikes and ride around on the approx. 4 km long city walls. Here you cycle large parts in the shade created by large trees. The province of Lucca is also a great base for experiencing Tuscany. Here you have cities like Florence, Pisa, or San Gimignano within reasonable distances. Viareggio with its lovely sandy beaches is 50 minutes away by car.

On request, it can be organized for a chef who comes to Il Gobbo to prepare meals.

About Il Gobbo (11 + 4):

Il gobbo is a typical Tuscan brick house that was restored in the 1980s with wooden floors on the top floor and typical Tuscan roof beams. The house is located 180 meters above sea level and has a great view of the countryside. Il Gobbo is about 200 square meters and is spread over two floors with 6 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. The villa can accommodate 11 people + 4 children under 14 years. All bedrooms overlook the stunning countryside. There is a fully equipped kitchen and a large dining room on the ground floor.

Outdoors there is a large garden with pool, olive trees, BBQ area and pizza oven. Pool area is large with both pool and hot tub with hydromassage. The pool is 14 m long, 6.3 m wide and 2.4 m deep at its deepest. The pool area is fenced and the pool has a diving board. On the patio in front of the villa there are two large tables that make it perfect to enjoy all meals outside. There is also a children’s area in the garden with a small football pitch, swings, table tennis table and a wooden house.

The villa also produces olive oil, honey and jam.

Prices are in euros. Rented Sat to Sat, and the prices above are for 7 days.

The price includes bed linen and towels. Consumption of AC and possible use of heating (only necessary in parts of May and from the end of September) will be an additional cost.
Final cleaning costs € 200.00 and is payable on site.
There are 3 baby cots available which can be used for free.

On request, it can be organized for a chef to come to the villa to prepare meals. Price upon request.

When booking, 30% of the rental amount must be paid.
The balance is due 10 weeks before arrival.

Arrival time: From 17:00 until 20:00. If you wish to arrive earlier or later, this must be agreed with Primatoscana and the owner.
Departure: Between 08:00 and 10:00. If you want to leave earlier or later, this must be agreed with Primatoscana and the owner.
