This luxurious, recently renovated villa was built as an aristocratic home in the 16th century. The current owner bought the property in 1995, and has since made extensive restorations. A separate part of the villa is currently rented out to groups. Live in beautiful Tuscany in a very comfortable holiday home with hotel standard in all bedrooms, with satellite TV, wireless internet, mini-fridge and air conditioning. There is a total space for 22 people + 5 adults in the sofa bed. Children can sleep in sofa beds, then there is room for 10 children. Total space for 22 + 10 people.

Reviving the 1843 Symmetrical Garden

During the restoration of the house, original frescoes were found (paintings done on a wet wall. Italy is known for its frescoes), which have been preserved. Villa Gamberaio today has beautiful frescoes on the ceiling and on the walls. The owners have rebuilt the characteristic, symmetrical garden according to drawings from 1843. The decoration of the house, the park-like garden and the consistently high standard, give the property a stately feel and the feeling of living in a manor.

Villa Gamberaio is spread over three floors and is serviced by a lift. Large and beautiful common rooms as well as luxurious rooms / suites and great dining area outside make this a lovely place to stay.

The outdoor area consists of courtyard, garden with large pool (16 * 6 m, depth 1.40, at guests’ disposal exclusively) and the Italian garden. The pool is open from May until October. Get in touch if you rent outside this time frame. From the villa it’s walking distance to restaurant and a winery (500m), groceries, bar, butcher and baker (600m).

Location

The villa is located in Lucca, about 9 km from Lucca’s historic center. The owners of the villa live on site themselves. They are a married couple with a great commitment to the property, and who do everything they can for the guests to enjoy. Pisa: 50 min. Versilia coast: 45 min. Florence: 1 hour.

About Villa Gamberaio (22 + 5 or 10)

Villa Gamberaio is spread over three floors and is serviced by a lift. On the ground floor is a large beautiful living room, modern commercial kitchen, dining room and bathroom. The living room has access to the courtyard and paved space where meals can be enjoyed outdoors under a large parasol (sleeps 22 people).
On the second and third floor are the bedrooms. A total of 11 state-of-the-art rooms / suites.
In the courtyard is an annex that can be rented on large occasions or for companies that want meeting room facilities.

Rooms 1 – 2 – 3 – 4 – 5 are the largest rooms / suites: These contain in addition to bedrooms, a small room for wardrobe, small living room with sofa bed, 2 bathrooms (one with bath. The other with shower).

Limonaia: Annex

In the courtyard is an annex that can be rented in addition for large special occasions, or for companies that want meeting room facilities. Here there are movable partitions, and flexible solutions for dividing the room at meetings, lectures or gatherings. The room is equipped with state-of-the-art technical equipment for meetings, conferences etc. Prices upon request.

The prices above are in euros and apply to weekly stays. Prices also include welcome dinner with wine. Applies to weekly stays. Usually rental Saturday – Saturday. Bed linen and towels are included in the price and are changed weekly. Final cleaning is also included.
A supplement is paid for electricity for heating, this is normally only necessary for rent for the period before May or from the end of September.
If there are a total of 22 people, it is a extra supplement per day per person, the opportunity to use a sofa bed. Ask for the price!
Cots and high chairs are available in the villa for € 50.00 per week.

A security deposit of € 2,000.00 is required upon arrival for the entire property. The money is returned in full on departure if no significant damage has occurred.
When booking, 40% of the rental amount must be paid. The balance is paid 10 weeks before arrival.

Arrival time: Between 16:00 and 19:00. Upon arrival later, written notice must be sent.
Departure: By 10.00.
