Classic Tuscany in popular Lucca. Two charming stone houses on a beautiful hillside. Perfect for a family, or for two families who want to live together. The house Fienile can accommodate 5 people, and Il Forno can accommodate 4 people. A cozy Italian couple in their 60s live on the property. They are constantly on the go, but are happy to have a chat and are helpful when guests have questions. The houses Fienile and Il Forno share a large and nice pool. The pool is open from May to October. From the pool (13 x 5 meters, with a depth of 1.10 – 1.40 meters) there are panoramic views over Lucca province. Wide views over olive groves, vines, the beautiful plains around Lucca and the mountains towards Pisa. Said by customer: “best view on earth”. The pool has salt water. From the property it is walking distance to local restaurant, and small supermarket. The restaurant is known for serving good Italian food. Two more restaurants from 1.5 to 2.5 km away. One of these is a gourmet restaurant, and is adjacent to a small cozy hotel. Casa Panorama is located about 45 min from the coast (by car).

Fienile is a separate house with garden. Il Forno is next door to the owner’s own home. Il Forno is still located as a separate part, and undisturbed in relation to the owner’s part. From the homes a short path leads down to the pool area with sun loungers and parasols. By the pool there is a cozy space with table and chairs under a shaded roof. The pool is open from Easter to October.

Lucca

The center of Lucca is about 11 km away, and is a beautiful old town surrounded by a 4.2 km long city wall. Here, local small shops are close together in narrow cobbled streets. The city has a bustling cultural life, 99 churches and beautiful piazzas. Lucca is a gem of a Tuscan small town and should be visited several times during your stay. Lucca is the birthplace of the famous composer Giacomo Puccini world famous for i.a. operas such as La Bohème and Madame. Every day there is an opera concert in a church in the center of Lucca. In July every summer, a music festival is held in Lucca. They often boast big international stars. Take a look at the program for this year’s summer festival.

Holiday house in central Tuscany

Casa Panorama and Lucca are centrally located in Tuscany. This is a good base to visit the center of Lucca, Pisa, Florence, Siena, Montalcino, San Gimignano and the small and charming town of Montecarlo. Nearby you will also find the cave “Grotta del Vento” in the exciting mountain landscape Garfagnana on the border of the Apennines, Pinocchio Park, the spa town of Montecatini Terme, golf courses and the beautiful coast of Versilia, which is about 45 minutes away. The nearest grocery store is 5 minutes away by car. Distances: Pisa 40 min, sea 30 min, Lucca 4 min, Florence 1 hour, Siena 1 h 50 min.

Fienile (5)

Detached house with 5 beds. The house is spread over two floors and is furnished in Tuscan charming style. The ground floor contains a large living room with fireplace, and kitchen with dishwasher. On the second floor are the bedrooms. A double room with en suite bathroom and ceiling fan, a large bedroom with three beds (here there is air conditioning), and another bathroom. The house has a cozy garden with dining area, deck chairs and barbecue. From the garden you have a panoramic view of olive groves, vines, the beautiful plains around Lucca and the mountains towards Pisa. Access to pool.

Il Forno (4)

Accommodation for 4 people. Own cozy patio at the top of the house. Il Forno has a separate entrance and garden to itself. The house is furnished in Tuscan charming peasant style, and goes over one floor. Contains living room, small kitchen with dishwasher, double room, room with two single beds and bathroom. In the garden there are tables, chairs, parasol, deck chairs and barbecue. The pool is shared with the residence Fienile. There is air conditioning in the living roomwhich also flows into the room with two beds. In the double room there is a fan in the ceiling.

The prices above are in euro and apply to weekly stays. Rental Saturday – Saturday. Weekly rentals only in June, July and August.

Cleaning after departure, bed linen and towels are included and changed weekly.
Possibility to insert cots and high baby chairs, included in the price.
There is an additional charge for the use of air conditioning. Consumption is read by meter, and you pay according to consumption.
A supplement is paid for electricity for heating, this is normally only necessary for rent for the period before May or from the end of September.
A security deposit of € 200.00 must be paid on arrival. The money is returned on departure if no significant damage has occurred.
Cooking classes and dinner can be arranged on the property from the hosts, ask us for more information.
When booking, 30% of the rental amount must be paid.
The remaining payment is made 10 weeks before the start of the stay.

Time of arrival: From 14:00. NB: Up to the property is a steep hill. The property has parking space for 1 car per house. The car park is too narrow if the number of cars is exceeded.
Departure: By 10.00.
