Be Your Own Bike Guide in Tuscany

Do you dream of cycling in Tuscany? Now you can cycle on your own routes that have been carefully selected by professionals and locals. A gps attached to the steering wheel, shows you in a simple way the route you are going to cycle. You can decide the pace, where you want to stop for lunch, whether to take a dip, etc. Enjoy the freedom of not cycling in a group with a guide.

If there are several of you cycling together, we recommend GPS on every other bike in the entourage. You get training and briefing from our partners in Lucca, who also provide assistance during the trip if needed. They have updated information about the routes, and will be able to provide direct help if necessary. You stay in charming and bike-friendly 3 or 4 star hotels. Your luggage is transferred from place to place, so you do not have to carry it on your back or attach it to the bicycle. You can choose between different types of bikes: trekking bike (see picture below) racer (picture below), or electric bike. The distances you cycle depend on the type of bike, terrain and level of ambition. For those who want to ride a trekking bike, there will occasionally be routes on gravel roads and where there is little traffic. The day stages on these trips can range from 35 to 59 km. Those who ride races ride on asphalt, and can cycle from 60 to 120 km per day. Our bicycle packages last from 3 to 7 days. You book your own flight and arrange transport yourself to Lucca. Recommended airports are Pisa and Florence. Here you can read more about tips for flights to Italy
