Villa Gennaro is secluded on a popular hillside in Lucca. The property is high up with stunning views. The house is newly renovated and contains three nice double rooms, 2 modern bathrooms on the second floor, 1 small toilet on the ground floor, large living room and impressive kitchen with large dining table. In the house there is room for an extra bed as well as a cot 0-3 years. The owners run an antique shop in the center of Lucca, and have a great commitment to interior design and preservation of the old Tuscan style. A few years ago, they bought an old ruin, and have lovingly built a very nice place that is now rented out to tourists. In this house and on this property you can relax in beautiful surroundings. Here you do not need much more than a little trip to the baker or butcher now and then, and meander the way back to the holiday paradise. Free wifi that works outside and inside.

The house is surrounded by a large garden with gazebo – outdoor dining area with roof – and pool with hydromassage. The pool measures 6×12 m, and has a depth of 1.20 – 2.40 m. The pool is open in the period 25/4 until the end of October. There are stairs down into the water from one side. From the property you can look down on Collodi, the city where the tale of Pinocchio was written. In Collodi there is a park for children. The area the property is located on is called Gennaro and is located about 30 min from the center of Lucca. In the local area there are several wineries where you can get a tour and buy wine and oil. Several of Luccas’ best oils and wines are grown in this area.

Although the house is a few km from the nearest small town, there are several opportunities for those who want to spice up their holiday with activities. The center of Lucca is worth several visits. Lucca is a charming old town with narrow cobbled streets. There is a good selection of shops and restaurants, and the city has a rich cultural life. Every summer, a music festival is held, which is often visited by big international stars. 2.5 and 4 km from the property you will find local trattorias where you can enjoy typical Tuscan dishes. Chef can be arranged on request. If you want a few days by the sea, the Versilia coast is only 45 minutes away by car. The villa is centrally located in Tuscany, 45 min from Pisa and 1 min and 10 min from Florence.

About Villa Gennaro (6 + 1)

A wrought iron gate leads into the property which contains the villa, garden with gazebo and pool. The villa is brand new and has a nice location in quiet and peaceful surroundings. You enter the ground floor where the floor is covered with slate tiles. Here is a large living room with sofa, TV, fireplace and exit to the pool and garden. The ground floor also has a small toilet with sink and spacious kitchen with absolutely everything you can think of equipment. There are also dining tables and chairs. Up a beautiful staircase you come to the sleeping area where there are 2 bathrooms with shower and three magnificent bedrooms. Two rooms with double beds of the four-poster bed type. One of these has a private bathroom. Furthermore, there is one room with two single beds. These can possibly be placed next to each other. Finally, there is a lovely bathroom. Downstairs there is a laundry room.

The prices above are in euros and apply to weekly stays. Rental Saturday – Saturday.
A supplement is paid for electricity of € 100.00 per week in the period 22 / 6-21 / 9 and € 250.00 in the periods 1 / 1-22 / 6 and 21 / 9-21 / 12. Heating is normally only required for rentals for the period before May or from the end of September.
Change of towels and linen € 10.00 per person.
A supplement for renting a bath towel € 5.00 per piece, per week.
Cot: € 25.00 per week (only one available)
Extra bed: € 25.00 per week.
Midweek housekeeping € 80.00.
Mountain bike rental: € 35.00 per week.
If pets are brought, extra cleaning costs € 80.00 per week per brought pet.
A security deposit of € 600.00 must be paid on arrival. (Corresponding amount in NOK can also be delivered). The money is returned in full on departure if no significant damage has occurred.

When booking, 30% of the rental amount must be paid. The balance is paid 10 weeks before arrival.

Arrival time: Between 16:00 and 18:00. The times cannot be deviated by much. The holder may need to be informed of late arrival. Departure: By 10.00.
