Live in the heart of Chianti on a beautiful vineyard with large outdoor areas surrounded by centuries-old cypress trees. The vineyard produces Chianti Classico DOCG, the dessert wine Vin Santo and extra virgin olive oil. Guests are welcome into the wine cellar. The place is located on a hill with 360 degree views to villages with famous names from the world of wine, such as Barberino. Here you have a good starting point for visiting famous vineyards. For example, Casa Emma and Casa Della Paneretta are just a few km away. In the 18th century, this property was a small village with a small community of farm workers. The Vallombrosan monks lived here. The monastery is well preserved and is still part of the property.
The winery has 10 modern holiday apartments with good comfort. The place is suitable for families with children, groups of friends and couples. The apartments are located in two buildings. In the former convent (Capella) are 5 apartments, separate pool (12x22m, depth 1.40-3m) for these apartments, and somewhat secluded from the rest of the building is a stone house where there are 4 more apartments (Proneta), the apartments have their own pool (7x14m, depth 1.40m, open in the period late May to late September). Both buildings have large pools with panoramic views. Villa Proneta can be rented in its entirety to groups of 20 people. In the spring of 2017, a new apartment was ready at Fattoria Poggio. This apartment is located near the Capella building, a short walk to the pool. Terraces and gardens are equipped with barbecue and wood burning stoves. The property has 360 ° views of the beautiful Tuscan countryside and on clear days you can see the towers of San Gimignano, and the surrounding hills.
The vineyard can be rented in connection with weddings. The monastery and the garden with a view to the vines provide a great setting for major events such as anniversaries and weddings. Contact Primatoscana for more information.
The hosts place great emphasis on guest satisfaction. They offer services such as; purchase of food for the day of arrival, breakfast, your own personal chef who cooks in the apartment, cooking classes (min. number of participants), babysitting (4 to 8 years) and rental and bringing of bicycles. New large apartment near the pool and the building with the Capella apartments (spring 2017). The apartment is decorated in a traditional style with high ceilings and exposed beams. Bright, pretty and spacious apartment. Private entrance via large glass door leading into the large kitchen. Well equipped kitchen / diner (oven, fridge freezer, dishwasher, microwave and American coffee machine). On an elevated level is a spacious double room with a view and a bathroom with shower. Nice view! The apartment has AC and access to WIFI in the common areas and in the reception. Private patio with table and chairs, perfect for al fresco dining!
Capella 1 (4)
Apartment of 85 sqm. with separate entrance up to the second floor. The veranda and the apartment have views to the beautiful inner courtyard, vines and villages. It is secured with gates for children at the top and bottom of the stairs. The terrace is furnished and partly surrounded by panoramic windows as a shield from the wind. From the terrace you enter the living / dining room with fireplace and panoramic windows. The apartment has a fully equipped kitchen, a double bedroom, and a twin bedroom. The apartment has two bathrooms with shower. One of the bathrooms has a washing machine.

Apartment on the second floor of 60 sqm. overlooking the inner courtyard. Private entrance leading to the apartment’s furnished terrace. From the terrace you enter the living / dining room with fireplace. The apartment has a fully equipped kitchen (with access to the terrace), a spacious bedroom with a double bed and a bedroom with two single beds. The apartment has one bathroom with shower and washing machine. Both bedrooms have stunning views out to the Barberino and Tavernelle. The apartments are comfortable and especially well furnished.

Apartment on the ground floor of 120 sqm. Private entrance to the apartment from the inner courtyard. Access to large furnished terrace from an external staircase. Here there are fantastic views of the surrounding countryside. From the terrace there is entrance to the living / dining room with fireplace and kitchenette. The kitchen is fully equipped. Furthermore, the apartment has 3 double rooms and two bathrooms with shower.

The front door leads into a hallway with two doors: bathroom with shower and a twin room. A spacious living / dining room with sofa bed and kitchenette is located to the left through an archway. The fully equipped kitchen is separated from the dining room by a low wall. Furthermore, the apartment contains a double room with a view and a single room, and a bathroom with a bath and a washing machine.

The prices above are in euros and apply to weekly stays. Prices include electricity, water, final cleaning, towels, bed linen and gas for cooking.
A supplement is paid for electricity for heating, this is normally only necessary for rent for the period before May or from the end of September. Must be paid on departure.
Prices do not include tourist tax. This must be paid on the spot. The tourist tax applies to all persons over the age of 14 and amounts to € 1.50 per day for up to 7 days.
A security deposit of € 260.00 must be paid on arrival. The money is returned in full on departure if no significant damage has occurred. The amount can be paid by contact, or by credit card.
For € 10.00, the hosts put in dish soap, soap for washing machine and dishwasher, garbage bags and toilet paper. Paid on arrival.
When booking, 30% of the rental amount must be paid. The balance is paid 10 weeks before arrival.
Arrival time: Between 16:00 and 19:00. On arrival before 16:00, it is not guaranteed that the reception is serviced. If you want an earlier arrival, it must be agreed in advance. For arrivals after 19:00 there is a surcharge of € 20.00 per hour. It is important to inform in advance on arrival after 19:00.
Departure: Between 08:00 and 10:00.
