Resort Piombino

Family-friendly seaside resort in Tuscany. Bright and practical apartments, 3 pools, football pitch, tennis court, playground and restaurant. Surrounded by beautiful natural landscape and the ocean along the Etruscan coast, this resort is just 2 km from the beaches of Golfo di Baratti. Stay in central Tuscany on a holiday center with all imaginable facilities. This is the ideal place for families who want the opportunity for an active holiday. There is a tennis court, football field and a regular pool (14x7m, depth 1.5m, heated in periods), children’s pool (14x7m, depth 0.6m) and Olympic pool (50x25m, depth 1.5m). The pools are always open and from 15 May to 15 September and there is a lifeguard on duty. From the resort, buses run directly to the private beach, where you can rent chairs, sun loungers and parasols. In the first two weeks of July, part or all of the large pool may be closed because competitive swimmers train there.

The resort has 200 spacious and modern apartments spread over several buildings. The apartments are air conditioned and suitable for 2 to 6 people. For an additional fee, you can get an apartment with a terrace. Bright apartments with simple standard.

Tuscany has a lot of exciting things to offer for those who want an exciting holiday. Experience cozy Lucca near Pisa, make the trip to the famous road SR 222, – the road between Florence and Siena. The famous road runs through beautiful countryside in the beautiful wine district of Chianti. The resort is close to Piombino and the ferries that go to Elba. It makes for a lovely day trip to visit this beautiful island which is known for its pretty beaches with crystal map water. The car ferry takes approx. 45 minutes.

Tuscany is a mecca for those who appreciate good food, and the Etruscan Riviera is rich in good ingredients. Here you can get delicious seafood, and from the interior comes the good Chianina meat (cattle grass from the area that is world famous for good meat), duck and wild boar.

The Etruscan coast has many well-known and good D.O.C. wines such as; Bolgheri Doc, Montescudaio Doc, Val di Cornia Doc and Elba Doc. From Bolgheri comes, among other things, the top wine Sassicaia. The price per bottle may not be suitable for most wallets, but you may find a wine from a nearby winery that you like.

Pisa is the nearest airport 96 km away. Florence 152 km. Rome 244 km. The nearest train station is 9 km away (Campigliana Marittima).

NB: In the period March-May, the large pool is used for swimming training. Only parts of the pool will be accessible to tourists during this period. The two smaller pools will always be accessible to tourists.

One-bedroom. With and without loft

The apartments contain a kitchen, living room / bedroom (with sofa bed), bathroom with shower, and are about 35 m2. The apartments with a loft have a larger bedroom and are approx. 43 m2.

The apartments are equipped with satellite TV (flat screen), air conditioning, heating, telephone, Wi-Fi internet (unfortunately very limited), kitchen with amongst other things microwave and dishwasher, safe, hairdryer, bathroom amenities, kitchen towels (changed weekly) and welcome kit.
The apartments are non-smoking.

The apartments are located on the ground floor, on the ground floor and on the second floor.
Ask for a terrace, patio or balcony. The patios on the ground floor can be 5-10 meters away from the apartment.

Two-room. With and without loft

The apartment for 6 people is equipped with kitchen and living room / bedroom, 1 bedroom for one person, one bedroom for one person, loft with two beds / double bed and is about 130 m2.

A 15% discount is given when booking by 31 January 2020.
Price per day per apartment. Arrival and departure on optional weekdays, except in the period 1 / 8-22 / 8 where you have to rent Saturday-Saturday.
Included in the price: Bed linen and towels, parking of one car per apartment, final cleaning, electricity and gas, air conditioning and heating.
Heating is normally only required for rentals for the period before May or from the end of September.
Possibility to add extra beds (on request) for a supplement of NOK 150 per bed per day.
Prices do not include tourist tax. This is paid upon arrival. The tourist tax applies to all persons over the age of 13 and amounts to € 1.50 per day for up to 7 days.
Breakfast buffet: € 8.00 per person. Breakfast is free for those under 3 years- Those aged 3 but under 9 pay € 4.00 for breakfast.
Bus transportation to and from the nearest beach is paid for on site; € 20 per person per week. € 3 per person per day. The same applies to beach plots: € 140 per week per apartment in high season (subject to availability).
A security deposit of € 200.00 is paid on arrival. The money is returned in full on departure if no significant damage has occurred.
NB! The kitchen area must be clean by the end of the stay. If not, you will be charged an additional cost of € 38.00. The amount is charged directly.
When booking, 30% of the rental amount is paid. The balance is paid 10 weeks before arrival.

Arrival time: Between 16:00 and 20:00. Let us know if you arrive after 17:00.
Departure: By 10.00. If you leave before 07:00 you must check out the day before.

In some periods, the 50-meter pool may be partially reserved for competitive swimmers. This also applies to an on-site fitness room. It is mandatory to have a swimming cap in the pools. Purchased on site. For large parts of the summer, a market will be open on the property.
