The rooms are bright and pretty, all with views. Some rooms face a park, others face the river Arno. Weather permitting, breakfast can be enjoyed on the hotel’s roof terrace. The terrace is lovely also for a cappuccino or an aperitivo in the afternoon. Just 5 minutes walk from the hotel you will find the popular lookout point Piazza Michelangelo. You have to cross the river to get to the most popular sights in Florence. It takes a couple of minutes to get there. When it comes to restaurants, we recommend looking in the street Borgo S Freddiano which crosses into the road Via Pisana. There are a large number of good places to eat. This is on the same side of the river as the hotel.

We were two families with a total of 8 children, for which the house was perfect. The only thing we would like was air conditioning in all bedrooms, only two bedrooms have this and it was very hot at night.
Super location with a short stroll to the nearest local baker with fresh bread every morning, a lovely pizza place with takeaway, and a short drive to the nearest grocery store. Very good restaurant just down the street from the house. And a lively playground/meeting place two minutes away where families, young people, grandparents etc. met in the evenings with a small kiosk, tennis court, football pitch and playground. The kids had a great time here.
