Activities for Children on Holiday in LUCCA

Here are some tips for activities for children vacationing in Lucca, Tuscany. Trips to downtown Lucca are a must.

It’s free of cars, and a nice, wide road around the whole city. The city wall is 4.3 km, and along the way there are several playgrounds. Why not buy fresh foccacia, croissant, ham, cheese and sun-ripened tomatoes, and have a picnic on the city walls.

The Versilia Coast has nice sandy beaches, and several of the bagnone have a playground for the children. From Lucca it takes about 40 min by car to the beach.
