Villa Cecilia

Dream villa in Tuscany with room for up to 21 or 29 people. A total of 17 bedrooms. Perfect for a group of friends or a family holiday. Large private pool and hot tub. Panoramic views. The villa maintains a high standard, has AC and heating. It offers a range of services, such as cooking, shopping assistance and company arrangements.

There is a total space for 29 people in the villa + 1 adult on an extra bed or 1 child under 12 years on an extra bed. Live in the countryside in the beautiful Tuscan hills of the province of Florence. Montaione (7 km away) is the nearest village with small shops, bars, restaurants and pizzerias. The property is less than an hour from places such as Florence, Pisa and Siena. San Gimignano, Volterra and Certaldo are 20 minutes away. The villa is a large building (550 sqm) which consists of a main part with common living room and 7 bedrooms (5 double and two single rooms). Furthermore, there are 4 suites with kitchens. The villa is decorated in a charming, traditional, Tuscan style. There are large common areas both indoors and outdoors. The property is very pretty with cypresses, flowers, shrubs, lawns and tiles. Private parking space. The pool is 8m x 15m. Depth 1.2 – 2.5m. There is a whirlpool with a depth of 90 cm at one end of the pool. The pool is open from May to the end of September. The pool is not heated. In low season, the pool can be kept open for an additional fee. The pool, terrace and garden are well lit in the evening. Great BBQ outside. By the pool there are sun loungers, deck chairs and parasols. Especially with the property is the large covered terrace with comfortable furniture. The bedrooms have either double beds or single beds. In all rooms where there are single beds, these can be moved and converted into double beds. All bathrooms have hairdryers. Shared laundry room with washer and dryer. Total number of bedrooms: 17. Main villa: 7 bedrooms (5 double rooms and two single rooms), suite 1: 3 bedrooms, suite 2: 3 bedrooms and suite 3 & 4: 2 bedrooms in each. Total number of bathrooms: 16. The kitchen in the main villa is equipped with gas stove with 6 rings, electric oven, microwave, refrigerator with freezer, toaster and American coffee machine. The kitchen in all suites is equipped with gas stove with 6 rings, electric oven and dishwasher. Indoors in most suites there are steps to different levels and stairs. In suites 3 & 4 it is adapted for the disabled without stairs or steps to different levels.

There is a local chef available who can come to the villa to prepare meals. It is also possible to order catering and shopping assistance, e.g. shopping for breakfast the first day. The nearest shops, banks, restaurants and all other services are in Montaione and Castelfiorentino, 7 and 6 km away respectively. Hospital: Castelfiorentino 7 km and Empoli 26 km. Train station: Castelfiorentino 6 km. Airports: Florence and Pisa (less than 1 hour). Rental car is required. Riding school 6 km. Tennis 6 km. 18 Castelfalfi Golf Course, 15 km away. Andrea Bocelli’s annual concert is held at the Teatro del Silenzio, in Lajatico, 40 km away. Here is a beautiful sculpture park. Lajatico is located on the road to Volterra, a cozy, old town that towers high on a mountain top. Volterra is a typical Etruscan town. The city was used as a backdrop during the filming of the movie Twilight.

For events such as anniversaries and weddings, Villa Cecilia can accommodate up to 60 people inside or outside.

Main Villa (12 pers)

The main villa is spread over two floors. On the ground floor there are common areas consisting of a hall with fireplace and sitting area, large kitchen and large dining room with seating for 29 people. For events, there is room for as many as 60 guests. The main villa has a total of seven bedrooms, each with its own bathroom: 5 double rooms and 2 single rooms.

Suite 1 (5 pers)

Located on the second floor of the main villa. Private entrance via external stairs. Three bedrooms: 1 double room with private bathroom, 1 twin room (two separate beds that can be put together) with private bathroom and 1 single room with private bathroom. Living / sitting area and well equipped kitchen.

Suite 2 (6 pers)

Suite overlooking the pool, located on the second floor of the main villa. Private entrance via external stairs. Three bedrooms: 2 double bedrooms with en suite bathrooms. 1 twin room (two separate beds that can be put together) with private bathroom with bath. Living / sitting area and well equipped kitchen.

Suite 3 (3 pers)

Suite by the pool, located on the ground floor of the main villa. Two bedrooms: 1 double room and 1 single room. A bath. Living / sitting area and well equipped kitchen. Adapted for the disabled, no steps.

Suite 4 (3 pers)

The prices above are in euros and apply to weekly stays. Rental Saturday – Saturday. Prices apply for confirmed bookings at least 45 days before the start of the stay.
Included in the price: bed linen and towels with weekly change, use of gas, water and electricity, pool towels, welcome pack, use of WIFI, TV, free use of washer and dryer (iron and ironing board), final cleaning, parking, staffed villa (gardener / maintenance / pool man) and maid service (2 hours 2 days a week for 21 people and 3 hours Monday-Friday for 29 people).
Included in the price is also the use of AC and any use of heating (from November to April).
A cot with sheets for children up to 2.5 years and a high chair is lent out free of charge (duvet and pillow items must be brought).
If you need more beds / chairs, there is an additional price, ask! Extra cot costs € 90.00 per piece / per week. Extra high baby chair and tub to wash baby in costs € 25.00 per piece / per week. Extra bed for an adult costs € 450.00 per piece / per week. Extra bed for children up to 12 years costs € 350.00 per piece / per week. It is only possible to insert 1 extra bed. Max 29 + 1 people.
New set of clean towels / pool towels can be added on request (at an additional cost).
A security deposit of € 1,000.00 must be paid on arrival. The money is returned in full on departure if no significant damage has occurred. You can pay / keep this using Mastercard / Visa.
Prices do not include tourist tax. This must be paid on the spot. The tourist tax applies to all persons over the age of 14 and amounts to € 1.00 per day for up to 6 days.
A local chef is available and can come to prepare meals in the villa. Must be ordered.
Also possibility to order catering and shopping assistance eg shopping for breakfast the first day (payable on site and must be ordered in advance).
Pets are permitted in low season (on request).
When booking, 30% of the rental amount must be paid. The balance is paid 10 weeks before arrival.

Arrival time: Between 17.00-20.00. If you do not have the opportunity to check in until after 20:00, a fee of € 50.00 must be paid for arrivals before 23:00 and € 100.00 for arrivals after 23:00.
Departure: 08.00-10.00.
