Residence Gambasso is a beautiful property with 6 apartments and 8 rooms on a B&B basis in quiet surroundings on a ridge between San Gimignano and Volterra, in central Tuscany. Large swimming pool and restaurant on site. Freshly baked goods can be bought in the morning. Perfect place for those who travel with children or in a group!

The apartments at Residence Gambasso are decorated in a typical Tuscan style and have a washing machine, dishwasher, oven and TV. There is AC and heating in all apartments and rooms. The reception has a good selection of drinks etc. Wifi access at the restaurant, reception and public areas. Parking. Pets are welcome. In addition to the apartments and rooms are the two

villas Villa Cabbia and Villa Gambasso on the property. The two villas have their own pool / outdoor areas.

The property has a nicely planted garden with large swimming pool with beautiful views. Seating area under the pergola by the pool. Sun loungers and deck chairs. The pool has 16×8 meters, is 1.20 to 2.40 meters deep, and is open from 1 May to 31 October.

Breakfast at Residence Gambasso can be enjoyed in the breakfast room or in separate accommodation. Freshly baked goods can be delivered to your door every morning. Food can also be purchased for late arrivals. The restaurant serves lunch and dinner.

Location

The hosts are service-minded and help you, among other things. by booking tickets to the most popular museums in Florence, recommending the best places to eat, tips on the most interesting cities to visit, etc. For example, you can visit the city of San Gimignano with its 15 towers and the world’s best ice cream. In Volterra you can eat at a restaurant with fantastic views or attend a truffle festival during autumn. The town of Volterra has a distinctive location where it is located on top of a ridge. Look for small villages, vineyards and casual eateries. You are usually surprised at how good food is served. Discover Tuscany!

The village of Gambasso is 1.5 km away with shops and restaurants. Distances: San Gimignano 15 km, Volterra 25 km, Florence 45 km, Siena 50 km. Golf course: Castelfalfi 15 km. Golf course is 15 km away. In November every year there is a truffle festival in Volterra.

Belvedere (4)

Apartment on the second floor, 70 sqm. Well equipped kitchen (dishwasher and washing machine), living room, 2 double bedrooms and 2 bathrooms with shower. Belvedere has a hairdryer, heating and AC. Private outdoor area on the ground floor with access to barbecue. Terrace with views.

Orcio (4 + 2)

Apartment of 80 sqm that goes over two floors + attic. Ground floor: well equipped kitchen (dishwasher and washing machine) and living room. Second floor: 2 double bedrooms and 2 bathrooms with shower. Stairs with 5-6 steps up to an attic (open space, no door) with 1 double bed. Orcio has a hairdryer, heating and AC. Private outdoor area with table, chairs and access to barbecue.

Volta (4)

The prices above are in euros and apply per day. Ask us for prices for the B&B rooms!

Included in the price are bed linen and towels with a weekly change, and final cleaning.
There is WIFI at the reception and at the restaurant.
A supplement is paid for any use of AC and electricity for heating, €10.00 per day. Heating is normally only necessary when renting for the period before May or from the end of September.
A security deposit of €150.00 per apartment must be paid on arrival by credit card. The money is returned in full on departure if no significant damage has occurred.
Tourist tax is not included in our prices. It is paid on the spot according to the current rates for the region.
Dinner costs €25.00 per person. The restaurant is closed on Wednesdays.
Breakfast costs €13.00 per person over the age of 10. €8.00 per person under 10 years.
Pets cost €15.00 per week, ask us in advance!
Extra bed costs €10.00 per night.
A baby cot is provided free of charge.
When ordering, a 30% of the rent must be paid.
The remaining payment is paid 10 weeks before arrival.

Arrival time: Between 16.00 and 19.00.
Departure: By 10.00 am.
