Especially nice location not far from Lucca. Villa Gelsomino is a beautiful and charming Tuscan brick villa and is located with spectacular views of the province of Lucca. The villa can accommodate 12 people. Three of the bedrooms are air conditioned. Private pool and walking distance to 2 restaurants.

Lucca is known for its ancient and venerable villas. The villas were amongst others, erected by wealthy merchants from Florence, and Napoleon Bonaparte’s circle of friends, and can be over 1000 sqm. In connection with the villas, a number of other buildings were often erected. Villa Gelsomino belongs to such a property. The villa is located on its own and is sheltered from the other buildings on the large property.

About the villa:

Villa Gelsomino is spread over two floors, as well as a mezzanine. There are a total of 6 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. Three of the bedrooms have AC. The villa is decorated in Tuscan, rustic style, and maintains a good standard. On the ground floor (on the ground floor) is a large living room with fireplace and door to the beautiful garden. Further on the ground floor is a well equipped kitchen, dining room, TV room with door to the garden and a smaller living room with fireplace. On the mezzanine (loft) there is a double bed and private bathroom. On the second floor are 2 double rooms with double beds, two bedrooms with two single beds, and two bathrooms. There is another double room with two single beds with attached bathroom. The villa has a laundry room. By the pool (14x7m, depth 1.20 – 2.40m) is a small annex. Here there is a dressing room, bathroom and a small kitchen. Very practical. NOTE: The pool is located 170 m from the villa itself. Safe and secure distance with regard to children. The pool is open in season. Great views from the pool area. WIFI in the garden and at the reception. Internet inside the villa can work poorly. The housekeeping service is 2 hours a day 3 times a week. Breakfast and other meals can be prepared in the villa on request. Price upon request. The villa is surrounded by a beautiful garden with lawn, flowers, shrubs and trees. The property is located just off the “Strada del Vino” – the wine road. In the local area there are several good vineyards. The Lucca region produces some of the best olive oils available. The property produces its own Extra Virgin Olive Oil.

In total the property has around 5000 olive trees, some vineyards, 6 pools, 3 independent villas, 5 smaller houses, park, tennis court for free use, reception and restaurant for guests. In addition, you have the property’s main villa where the current owner lives. Some of the villas were built in the 17th century. All villas and houses have been completely restored. The property is well suited for company trips, courses, seminars and groups. Nearest airport: Pisa 40 min away, Florence 1 hour and 15 min, Bologna about 2 hours, Rome and Milan about 3 hours and 15 min.

The prices above are in euros and apply to weekly stays. Included in the prices are bed linen and towels (changed weekly), housekeeping service 2 hours every day for 3 days per week and final cleaning.
Air conditioning in 3 bedrooms. Supplement for use 150.00 euros per week.
A supplement is paid for electricity for heating, this is normally only necessary for rent for the period before May or from the end of September.
