Main house and annex

The property consists of main house with 8 double rooms and 8 bathrooms. The annex Villa Viti with room for 6 is located opposite and is well suited to rent together with Villa Vigna. In total, a maximum of 25 people can stay, as extra beds can be added. Villa Vigna is located by itself in a rural setting, with large garden, pool (7x15m, depth 1.10-2.70m) and nice patio for meals. The pool is open from April to October. Villa Vigna is newly renovated and decorated with antique Tuscan furniture. Here, everything is in place for a comfortable holiday for groups, friends and families. The rooms are spacious. Villa Vigna and the annex have AC in all bedrooms and WIFI.

The local environment

Near Villa Vigna is the town of Terricciola, which is part of the national City of Wine Association. Terricciola is passionate about wine, and if you are lucky you can participate in one of the many festivals that take place here. The city is located in the middle of the province of Pisa between Pontedera and Volterra. The landscape is beautiful in this area. Experience the picturesque beautiful Tuscany with rolling landscapes, cypresses and small picturesque towns. Within short driving distance of the villa you will find several good restaurants. A restaurant is within walking distance. This is open Thursday-Sunday, and can be opened on other days on request. The baker, who sells fresh baked goods at the door every morning, is very popular.

Location

From Villa Vigna you have a perfect starting point to visit several exciting places: Pisa 25 km, Volterra 25 km, Lucca 45 km, Siena 70 km, and Florence 65 km. The coast is 35 km away. The cozy town of Cascina Terme (10 km) is famous for its thermal baths, located right in the center. This is a spa town and may be worth a visit for both young and old. Cascina is a little gem with cozy shops and restaurants. The nearest small village, Morrona, is 2 km away. Here you will find a bar and an alimentari (small grocery store that sells bread, hams, milk and other grocery products).

There are several restaurants a few kilometers away. Nice towns to visit: Peccioli has 4-5 restaurants and is 10 min away by car. 30 min to Volterra, which is characteristically located on a hill, 40 min to Pisa, 55 min to Lucca, 45 min to San Gimignano with 15 towers and the world’s best ice cream, Siena 1 ½ h. Pisa airport is about 1 h from the villa.

Vineyard

Villa Vigna is located on the property of one of the most important wine producers in the province of Pisa. On this huge property are 5 villas, each with its own pool. Free wine tasting is arranged for guests. In the kitchen of the villa there is a wine cabinet with wine from the property. Here you can buy wine if you wish. Good wines. We collaborate with some nice chefs who can come to cook for you or hold cooking courses. The price of a three-course dinner and some wine in 2016 is € 45.00-55.00 per person. Lower prices for children. Cooking courses have individual prices. The chefs do everything from shopping to doing the dishes.

About Villa Vigna (16):

Villa Vigna can be rented along with Villa Viti, which has 2 double rooms and a double sofa bed. Vita is a small annex located near Villa Vigna. In total, 20-22 people can live in the two villas. Villa Vigna is a large and newly renovated villa that extends over two floors. The ground floor consists of a large living room with a traditional Tuscan fireplace, in addition to a large, modern and well equipped kitchen, dining room and one bedroom with bathroom and air conditioning.

On the second floor are 7 large bedrooms, each with its own bathroom and separate air conditioning. From the ground floor you have direct access to a nice patio with sun protection. The pool is large and inviting. The villa has a barbecue, and meals can be enjoyed outside at the long table. Upon request, arrangements can be made for the chef to come and prepare food. There is free WIFI in the villa. Extra beds can be added.

The annex – Villa Viti (4+2)

The annex is located near Villa Vigna and is spread over two floors. Small round pool (5 meters in diameter, with a depth of 1.5 meters). Open from Easter – end of October. The annex has room for 6 people. Kitchen, living room, 2 bathrooms, 2 double rooms and a double sofa bed in the living room. Small toilet downstairs.

The prices above are in euros and apply to a week’s stay. In the summer period, it is only rented out Saturday-Saturday. Other and shorter periods are rented out in spring and autumn. Please contact us for such requests.

Included in the prices is final cleaning, bed linen and towels, and all use of electricity including AC.
Option to put in an extra bed for an extra charge of € 30.00 per week.
Extra washing costs €17.00 per hour and is paid on site. One can e.g. order a midweek wash.
Changing bed linen costs €15.00 per person.
Depends on availability. To be ordered well in advance.
A security deposit of €500.00 must be paid on arrival. The money is returned in full on departure if no significant damage has occurred.
Tourist tax is not included in our prices. It is paid on the spot according to the current rates for the region.
Allowed with a small dog. Extra cost €50.
When ordering, 30% of the rent must be paid.
The remaining payment is paid 10 weeks before arrival.

Arrival time: Between 16.00-19.00.
Departure: By 10.00 am.
