Villa Vicky

Stately villa for 10 + 4 people on top of a hill with great views of lush landscapes. The house has recently been refurbished with a new kitchen, and new modern bathrooms. Here you live for yourself in beautiful Tuscany. Villa Vicky has a large and beautiful terrace with views. The swimming pool is fenced. (4x8m, depth 1.50-2.0m, the pool is open in the period May and into September). The hosts offer services such as delivery of fresh baked goods in the morning, preparation of lunch and dinner, and they can arrange cooking classes.

Villa Vicky is located in the heart of Tuscany, a short distance from Florence, Pisa and Siena. Relax after visiting nearby towns and beautiful villages: San Miniato, Certaldo, San Gimignano, Volterra. The villa is large and in addition to the kitchen and dining room has several living rooms, a library and a billiard room. Here you do not have to travel around to spice up your holiday with experiences. It is an experience in itself and staying in Villa Vicky. User-friendly antique furniture characterizes parts of the villa.

Villa Vicky is from the 19th century and was built on the ruins of a castle built by Count Ferdinando Strozzi. The property has its own chapel. Today’s owner is an older nice Italian lady. She lives in one of the apartments in the villa, but does not use the terrace and the pool as the holiday guests rent this exclusively. She has a black friendly labrador who is the master of the house.

Villa Vicky is located northeast of the municipality of Montaione, midway between Florence, Pisa and Siena. 6 km to the nearest town with grocery, restaurant, post office, bar, bank m.m. The nearest restaurant, La Taverna dell’Ozio, is about 3.5 km away. Order pasta with truffle, for which the area is especially famous. Several other good restaurants 6 km away. Distances: Florence 1 t / 55 km, Siena 1 t / 68 km, Pisa 1 t / 55 km, San Giminiano 40 min / 30 km. 6 km to the nearest town with grocery, restaurant, post office, bar, bank.

The villa has a main part with room for 10 people. For groups up to 14 people, you can also rent an accompanying apartment for 4 people. This apartment is older but has nice rooms.

The villa is spread over two floors and has three entrances from the terrace / garden. A total of five bedrooms, four nice bathrooms and in addition an additional toilet. In the villa you will find a large living room in French Empire style, and with frescoes in the ceiling, a dining room with a country style – old terracotta floors and wooden beams in the ceiling. The dining room has a table for 12 people. From the kitchen you can go straight out on the terrace by the pool with a BBQ and dining area with a view. The terrace runs along the entire long side of the villa, and has several tables and large parasols. The villa also has a TV lounge and library. Four of the bedrooms are on the second floor, two with en suite bathrooms and the others with shared bathrooms. On the ground floor you will find the fifth double bedroom, with walk-in wardrobe and bathroom with bathtub. Wi-fi Internet access. Private pool.

Apartment for 4 people. Perfect for youth or small group. The apartment has a living / dining room. Two bedrooms with two separate beds in each of the rooms. Bathroom to each of the bedrooms. Small functional kitchenette. Wi-fi Internet access.

The prices above are in euros and apply to weekly stays. Rental Saturday – Saturday.
Electricity, water and gas are included. Bed linen and towels are also included and changed weekly.
Extra cots available and included in the price.
A supplement is paid for electricity for heating, this is normally only necessary for rent for the period before May or from the end of September.
Double sofa bed in the TV room.
Final cleaning costs € 200.00. Paid in cash on site.
A security deposit of € 300.00 must be paid on arrival. The money is returned in full upon departure if no significant damage has occurred.
When booking, 30% of the rental amount must be paid. The balance is paid 10 weeks before arrival.

Time of arrival: Between 16:00 and 18:00. Please inform of later arrival.
