Live in the countryside in the beautiful Tuscan hills of the province of Florence. Montaione (7 km away) is the nearest village with small shops, bars, restaurants and pizzerias. The property is less than an hour from places such as Florence, Pisa and Siena. San Gimignano, Volterra and Certaldo are 20 minutes away. The villa is 350 sqm with a total of 11 bedrooms and 14 bathrooms. Villa Rubino has air conditioning and heating.

About Villa Rubino

There is a total space for 22 people + 1 adult in extra bed or 1 child under 12 years in extra bed. The property consists of the following: A main part with common living room and dining room, kitchen and 5 bedrooms where all have their own bathroom. Two adjoining suites with separate entrances. Each of these have 3 bedrooms with private bathroom, kitchen, living room. A large annex with a long table with space for all guests. Adjoining kitchen and living room. Guest toilet and AC. Large covered terrace area with pizza oven. Pool and beautiful areas by the pool and the garden in general.

Shared laundry room with washer, dryer, iron and ironing board. The villa is decorated in a charming, traditional and Tuscan style. Fenced and well-kept garden of 1.5 acres. The property is flat with stunning cypresses, flowers, shrubs, lawns and slabs / tiles. Private parking space. The pool is 7 x 21 m with a depth of 1.2-2.5 m and has a built-in whirlpool with a depth of 90 cm. The pool is open from 1 May until 1 October. In case of good weather, the pool can be opened earlier. By the pool there are sun loungers, deck chairs and parasols.

You can retreat from the pool and into the large covered terrace with comfortable furniture. Large covered area with pizza oven and a removable grill. Spacious common areas in the garden. The garden, the pool and the covered terrace are well lit in the evening. Right by the pool there is an annex with a common dining area for all guests. Here there is a dining table, fireplace, guest bathroom, AC, possibility for heating and nice interior. The kitchen is also located in the annex.

Location

There is a local chef available who can come to Villa Rubino to prepare meals. It is also possible to order catering and shopping assistance, e.g. shopping for breakfast the first day. The nearest shops, banks, restaurants and all other services are in Montaione and Castelfiorentino, 7 and 6 km away respectively. Hospital: Castelfiorentino 7 km and Empoli 26 km. Train station: Castelfiorentino 6 km. Airports: Florence and Pisa (less than 1 hour). Rental car is required.

Riding school 6 km. Tennis 6 km. 18 Castelfalfi Golf Course, 15 km away. Andrea Bocelli’s annual concert is held at the Teatro del Silenzio, in Lajatico, 40 km away with a beautiful sculpture park. Lajatico is located on the road to Volterra, a cozy, old town that towers high on a mountain top. Volterra is a typical Etruscan town. The city was used as a backdrop during the filming of the movie Twilight.

All bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms with hairdryers. Air conditioning and heating.

On the second floor with private entrance via outdoor stairs. 3 bedrooms. 2 with double bed and 1 with tp separate beds. All bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms with hairdryers. Living-dining room with kitchenette with gas stove, oven, dishwasher, coffee maker, toaster. Air conditioning and heating.

Suite with Garden View (6)

On the second floor and with private entrance via outdoor stairs. View to the garden. 3 double bedrooms, each with its own bathroom with hairdryer. Living-dining room with kitchenette equipped with gas stove, oven, dishwasher, coffee maker, toaster. Small guest bathroom. Air conditioning and heating.

The prices above are in euros and apply to weekly stays. Rental Saturday – Saturday in the period 29 / 5-18 / 9. Otherwise 4/5 days.
Prices apply for confirmed bookings at least 45 days before the start of the stay.

Included in the price: bed linen and towels with weekly change, use of gas, water and electricity, pool towels, welcome pack, use of WIFI, TV, free use of washer and dryer (iron and ironing board), final cleaning, parking, staffed villa (gardener / maintenance / pool man) and maid service (3 hours Monday-Friday).

Included in the price is also the use of AC and any use of heating (from November to April).

A cot with sheets for children up to 2.5 years and a high chair costs € 50.00 per piece / per week.
If you need more beds / chairs, there is an additional price, ask! Extra cot costs € 50.00 per piece / per week.

Extra high baby chair and tub to wash baby in costs € 50.00 per piece / per week. Extra bed for an adult costs € 450.00 per piece / per week. Extra bed for children up to 12 years costs € 50.00 per piece / per week. It is only possible to insert 1 extra bed. Max 22 + 1 people.
New set of clean towels / pool towels can be added on request (at an additional cost).
A security deposit of € 500.00 must be paid on arrival. The money is returned in full on departure if no significant damage has occurred. You can pay / keep this using Mastercard / Visa. Prices do not include tourist tax. This must be paid on the spot.
The tourist tax applies to all persons over the age of 14 and amounts to € 1.00 per day for up to 6 days.
A local chef is available and can come to prepare meals in the villa. Must be ordered. Also possibility to order catering and shopping assistance eg shopping for breakfast the first day (payable on site and must be ordered in advance).
Pets can only be brought in low season (on request).

When booking, 30% of the rental amount must be paid. The balance is paid 10 weeks before arrival.
Arrival time: Between 17.00-20.00. If you do not have the opportunity to check in until after 20:00, a fee of € 50.00 must be paid for arrivals before 23:00 and € 100.00 for arrivals after 23:00.
