The home is generally of a very good standard, has 5 double bedrooms, one of which has an extra bed. 4 bathrooms. Lush outdoors with beautiful rose bushes, lavender, herbs and shrubs. From the front door you arrive at the terrace at the back of the house as the terrace goes all around one side of the house. Villa Il Pettirosso is spread over three floors and can be divided into two living units: an apartment for 3 people (ground floor) and main house for 8 people. The house is only rented out in its entirety in high season. Apartment is integrated in the main house.

The pool (12×4 meters, with a depth of 1.40-1.50m) is fenced and has saline water. It is open in the period 4/5 – 27/9 and it is only for exclusive use when renting the entire villa. Villa Il Pettirosso is non-smoking. For those who want a holiday where you are waited on, it can be arranged with your own housekeeper and chef. Ask us about prices for the services.

Location

Villa Il Pettirosso is located in Lucca in central Tuscany, and with a short distance to many exciting destinations such as Florence (72km), Pisa (30km) wine district Chianti, Siena (1h and 50min) and the Cinque Terre. The historic center of Lucca is one of Tuscany’s most cozy ancient medieval towns, and it’s easy to fall in love with this city. This area is known for its Tuscan cuisine, with typical Lucchesi trattorias and restaurants with nice prices. The Versilia coast with fine sandy beaches is approx. 40 minutes by car. Viareggio is a popular seaside resort where you can stroll along the lively boulevard, with a good selection of restaurants, cafes / bars and shops. The owner of Villa Il Pettirosso is happy to provide information on food courses and wine tasting at Cantine Bernardini in Lucca.

Pisa airport 30 km – Lucca 7 Km – Sea 30 min – Train station 8 km – Shopping center 1.5 km – Restaurant / pizzeria 500 m – Grocery 1.8 km – 30 minutes by car from Viareggio with its lovely sandy beaches. Il Pettirosso is centrally located, yet rural.

About Villa Il Pettirosso (10+1)

The villa is spread over 3 floors and can be divided into 2 apartments. The largest apartment can accommodate 8 people, the small one can accommodate 2 with the possibility of an extra bed.

In total the villa has 5 double bedrooms + extra bed and 4 bathrooms.

Ground floor: kitchen / living room, bedroom with double bed and sofa bed, bathroom with shower, separate laundry room.
Second floor: kitchen / dining room, living room with fireplace, double room, bathroom with shower. Terrace with garden and pergola (covered patio), barbecue, table and benches.
Third floor: 3 bedrooms, one bathroom with bath and one bathroom with shower.

Bedrooms and bathrooms are equipped with mosquito nets.

The prices above are in euros and apply to weekly stays (excluding deposit / final cleaning). The villa is only rented out in its entirety in high season. Bed linen and towels are included and changed weekly.
Free wifi zone 50 m from the villa.
Sofa bed can only be rented in the small apartment, or when renting the whole house.
A supplement is paid for electricity for heating, this is normally only necessary for rent for the period before May or from the end of September.
When renting a sofa bed – ie 11 people, there is a supplement of € 150 per week. Cot is free. Rental of bed linen for cot € 30 per week. Paid on site. (Feel free to bring your own.)
Final cleaning costs € 200.00. For stays of several weeks, € 100.00 is added for the change of bed linen and towels for each week. Final cleaning, heating and rental of a sofa bed are deducted from the deposit at the end of the stay.
A security deposit of € 600.00 for 10 people must be paid on arrival. The money is returned in full on departure if no significant damage has occurred.
When booking, 30% of the rental amount must be paid. The balance is paid 10 weeks before arrival.
In Italy, rubbish is sorted and different types of rubbish are collected every morning. Guests must sort and dispose of the correct rubbish every day / evening. Failure to do so will require the host to pay € 100.00 from the security deposit on arrival.
The pool is open 28/5-24/9. Can be used 09.00-19.30.

Arrival time: Between 16:00 and 18:00. If you arrive after 18:00, the owner must be informed well in advance, and a separate agreement must be made directly with the owner.
Departure: Between 08:00 and 10:00.
