B&B Casa Montecarlo

Stay in the middle of a cozy medieval town in the province of Lucca. Charming little B&B hotel. This cozy apartment building is located in the middle of the charming medieval town of Montecarlo in the province of Lucca and within walking distance of vineyards. For larger groups, it is possible to rent the entire hotel and have free use of the kitchen and all living areas exclusively. For rental of the entire establishment then there is accomodation for 15 guests.

The small hotel is housed in an old newly renovated apartment building, and has a pleasant backyard where meals can be enjoyed outside. The hotel is a self-service B&B which means that guests help themselves to their own breakfast in the kitchen, which is filled up by the hosts each day. They often also come with homemade cakes and jams. The kitchen can be freely used for preparing meals morning, lunch and dinner. The hotel has regular guests who return year after year.

The house is spread over three floors and has 5 large bedrooms. 3 of the bedrooms have private bathrooms, and 2 bedrooms have shared bathrooms. You enter the ground floor of the house which contains a large hall, bedroom, bathroom and large cozy kitchen with fireplace. The kitchen has access to a small terrace.
Downstairs is a rustic and cozy bodega with dining table and exit to the backyard, which has a large patio with table and chairs. 2 floor consists of 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. 3 floor contains bedroom, bathroom and large TV lounge.

Montecarlo is known for its quality wines and olive oil, and the local environment is characterized by beautiful hillsides with vines and olive groves. Montecarlo has several cozy restaurants, bars and some shops. The nearest small grocery, baker and butcher is only a few meters from the house. Here there is also an exciting cultural life and you can experience village parties, music festivals and theater performances in the city’s famous theater. Distances: Lucca old town 20 min-16km, Pisa 50km, Viareggio 50km, Volterra 70. Siena 123km. The Versilia coast with its long lovely beaches 50 km and Florence 62 km. If you live in Lucca, you have a good starting point for experiencing several famous places in Tuscany.

About the B&B rooms:

Cannella (3)

Cozy room. The bathroom is located with an entrance next to the bedroom and has a shower. The room is located on the ground floor right next to the kitchen.

Ginepro (2)

Ginepro is located on the 2nd floor and has a private bathroom with shower. The room is cosily decorated and oozes charm.

Vaniglia and Coriandolo (5)

Vaniglia and Coriandolo are suitable for rent together. The rooms have 2 and 3 beds respectively. The rooms have a common entrance and a small hallway with a door to a shared bathroom. The bathroom has a bath. The rooms are located on the 2nd floor and are bright and delicate.

Peperosa (3)

Pepperosa is a suite and is located on the 3rd floor. The room has a large bathroom with a bath. Here is a double bed and a single bed.

The prices above are in Norwegian kroner and are per night.
Breakfast and final cleaning are included in the prices for the rooms.
Breakfast is included in the price and it is “self-served”.
Includes use of kitchen and living room, final cleaning, internet and washing machine.
When you rent the whole property it can be organized for staff to serve breakfast. Price € 50.00 per day.
Final cleaning is included when renting the whole villa, but not breakfast!
It is also possible to request extra cleaning, and change of bed linen and towels. Price € 50.00 for the whole house. This is added to the price for the period before May or from the end of September, electricity for heating is not included in the price.
Children up to 6 years stay free on a fold-out single extra bed.

Prices do not include tourist tax. This is paid upon arrival.
A security deposit of € 400.00 must be paid on arrival when renting the whole house. The money is returned in full on departure if no significant damage has occurred.
Upon booking a 30% deposit of rental amount is required. The balance is paid 10 weeks before arrival.

Arrival time: 16:00 and 19:00. Arrange directly with the hosts when you expect to arrive.
