The Orchidea is located on a hillside, a short drive from the charming medieval town of Lucca. From the pool (13×5.5m, depth 1.25-1.50m) and the garden there are fantastic views of olive groves and vines. The pool is open from 3 May and closes on 30 October. In this area are several of Lucca’s famous olive and vineyards, and it is a lovely experience to visit these for a meal, tasting and shopping. Nearby are small picturesque places like pearls on a string, and by car you quickly reach a local baker and butcher.

The villa is strategically located to reach several exciting places in Tuscany. The center of Lucca is only 12 km from the property, and the beaches of Viareggio can be reached by car in about 35 min. Pisa is 45 minutes away. It takes about 1 hour to drive to Florence. The sea 45 min, Siena 1 h 50 min, Volterra 40 min and Cinque Terre 1 h 30 min.

About the apartment (8 + 1)

Orchidea sleeps 8 people. The apartment is 190 sqm and extends over 3 floors. The ground floor has a cozy living room with fireplace and large kitchen with stove and dishwasher. From the living room there is access to the balcony. The apartment has 4 en suite bedrooms (decorated with marble from Carrara). The apartment is decorated with antique Tuscan furniture. The apartment has a patio where meals can be enjoyed in beautiful surroundings. Air conditioning and mosquito nets in the bedrooms. The garden is beautifully planted with flowers, shrubs, fruit trees and herbs. The apartments share a large and lovely pool area. There is also a separate jacuzzi with space for six people. In the garden outside the apartment there are very nice sitting areas with superstructure. In the garden there is a pizza oven, and on request it is arranged with the chef who prepares pizza. Nearest grocery store: 3 km.

The prices above are in euros and apply to weekly stays. Weekly rentals only in June, July and August. Ask about prices during the Christmas and New Year weekend.
Included in the price: WIFI, use of jacuzzi, safe in each apartment, bed linen and towels with weekly change, final cleaning, housekeeper Tuesdays and Thursdays, new towels Tuesdays and Thursdays.
Laundry room available with washing machine, iron and board.
A supplement is paid for AC power for heating, heating is normally only required for rent for the period before May or from the end of September.
There is air conditioning in all bedrooms: € 0.15 per kwt.
Breakfast, lunch and dinner service can be arranged.
Anniversaries and weddings can be arranged here.
A security deposit of € 400.00 must be paid on arrival. The money is returned in full on departure if no significant damage has occurred.
When booking, 50% of the rental amount is charged. The balance is payable 12 weeks before arrival.

Departure: By 10.00.
